Today we celebrate:

National Pie Day – According to some sources, this is to be celebrated on December 1st. I cannot determine which date is the correct one but the majority of the sites consider it to be today. Whether it is today or not, you really can't go wrong by having a nice piece of pie today anyway.

National Handwriting Day – celebrated on John Hancock's 276th birthday, this is a day to focus on your writing skills and how readable they are. Do you write sloppily so that no one can read it or do you write so tiny that people need a magnifying glass? Maybe you write with big loopy letters? What does your handwriting say about you? Today is the day to find out.

Measure Your Feet Day – do any of us really know exactly how big our feet are? I know that mine are larger than they were before I had children. If you know your foot measurements you'll be all set the next time you want to fit your feet into anything like those cute boots at the shoe store or those roller skates at the rink your children pester you into taking them to.

Your day won't be too busy today, not to worry. This morning you can measure your feet, then let your feet take you to a bookstore or library to get a book on handwriting analysis so that you and your friends can analyze each other's handwriting over a delicious chicken pot pie.
