Today we celebrate:

National Stop Bullying Day – I don't know if there are several of these days throughout the year or if people just can't agree on when it is. But I say to stop the bullying today, so listen up people. If you're bullying someone, stop. If you're being bullied, tell someone who can help you. If you see someone being bullied, speak up and tell the bullier to stop, then tell someone who is in a position to help.

Read In The Bathtub Day – Relax in a warm tub with a good book and maybe even a glass of wine. Just be careful you don't fall asleep and get your book wet.

National Bagels & Lox Day – I'm sure you know what bagels are, but you may not know what lox is. Well, I'll tell you. It's thinly sliced, smoked salmon. You put it on a bagel smeared with cream cheese and covered with a little bit of onion slices. If you like you can also sprinkle on capers, tomatoes or cucumbers. It sounds pretty delicious.

National Toothache Day – I cannot fathom why we would celebrate pain, but here it is. If you insist on celebrating this day, you may want to do it from a dentist's office where you can get some relief.

You can celebrate today by having some Bagels & Lox for lunch, heading directly afterward to the dentist to fix that tooth of yours, stopping on the way to rescue a kid at the playground from a bully. Then you can reward yourself by wrapping up the day with a nice warm bathtub and a very interesting book.
