Today we celebrate:

Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day – Here's your breakfast, all planned out for you. http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Oatmeal-Nut-Waffles

Johnny Appleseed Day – Celebrated on this day by some because it is during the planting season, good for planting apple trees. Others prefer to celebrate on September 26th because that is Johnny's birthday.

National Worship Of Tools Day – I have no idea who created this holiday or why. I suspect it might have been a man even though many women love their tools too. So get them out today and fix something or maybe just organize them and make sure they are in good working order.

Dream 2013 Day – The ultimate goal of this day is to achieve a peaceful world where everyone regards each other as part of the same family. This will be achieved by working together to solve the problems of the world.

Fill Our Staplers Day – This was created by the Dull Men's Club, who believe that it is very annoying to be confronted by an empty stapler just when you need to staple something. So twice a year, on the Monday after the time changes for Daylight Savings, fill your stapler and hope that it lasts until the next Fill Our Staplers Day. http://www.dullmensclub.com/calendar/details/305.html

Napping Day – This day was begun in 1999 to combat the effects of Daylight Savings exhaustion. Find a comfy, quiet place and take a little snooze. It will help you get through the rest of your day without being too cranky.

To celebrate today, have some oatmeal nut waffles for breakfast. Then you can fill all of your staplers, and go out and organize your tools in the garage. When you are done with that you will be hungry again so have an apple while you dream about a world of peace. That will be exhausting so go ahead and refresh yourself with a nap.
