Today we celebrate:

Nametag Day – For today's Celebrate Your Name Week event, you must wear a name tag everywhere you go. Yes, you heard me, EVERYWHERE. Even if you're going places where everyone already knows you...like your kitchen.

National Be Heard Day – This is a day for small businesses to make a big noise. You always hear advertising from the big companies because they can afford the big advertising bucks, but today the small companies need to get out there and make themselves known.

Alexander Graham Bell Day – On this day in 1876, Alexander Graham Bell patented the first telephone. The lives of teenagers around the world were never the same again.

National Crown Roast Of Pork Day – Once again, your dinner dilemma for the day is solved.

National Cereal Day – I hope you have milk handy because this is for breakfast today.

To celebrate today, make yourself a nametag and put it on. Have a nice bowl of cereal while you get on the phone and call everyone you know to tell them all about your business or your favorite small business if you don't personally own one. Dinner is crown roast of pork so I hope you were able to get a good recipe ready in time. Time for bed and I hope you're still wearing your nametag. You don't want your spouse to confuse you with someone else.
