Today we celebrate:

Skyscraper Day – This is a day to admire the world's tallest skyscrapers such as Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan which is 1,671 feet tall.

National Welsh Rarebit Day – Welsh Rarebit (also known as Welsh Rabbit) is toast with hot cheese poured over it. It is very popular in Europe. It doesn't have rabbit as an ingredient so it may be that it was invented after an unsuccessful rabbit hunt.

Another Look Unlimited Day (day after labor day) – Celebrated on the day after Labor Day, this is a day to examine your possessions and donate what you don't need to charity or reuse them in some other way.

To celebrate today, examine the contents of your house to see what you can reuse or donate, then go visit a restaurant in a skyscraper for a lovely lunch of Welsh Rarebit. Warning, you may need to make a trip to Europe to find this particular dish.
