Egg Nog Day – This is a special holiday beverage that is made
with eggs, oddly enough. The name means 'eggs inside a small cup'
and this creamy beverage is commonly mixed with rum, brandy or
whiskey.
Christmas
Eve
– The day before Christmas, this is an important celebration for
Christians. We have inherited from the Jewish people, the idea of
our important holiday of Christmas beginning at sundown on this day.
Most Churches have special Christmas Eve services and many people
begin their gift giving traditions on this day as well.
To
celebrate today, share some rum spiked egg nog and then go to Church
for a Christmas Eve service.
