Today is a day to get creative:

National Build A Scarecrow Day - Celebrated on the first Sunday in July, this is a day to build a scarecrow to protect your vegetable garden from crows.  Get creative and see what works to scare the crows and what they just use as a perch.

National Fried Chicken Day – I guess it makes sense that this day would fall on the heels of yesterday's Chicken Wing Day. In my opinion, there really is no better tasting way to have chicken.

International Kissing Day or World Kiss Day – This is a day to celebrate, and practice, the kiss. Kisses can be used to express love, friendship, greetings, respect, good luck and more. Different kisses are appropriate for the many different relationships in your life. Kiss everyone you care about today.

To celebrate today, build a scarecrow and give it a kiss and a leg of fried chicken.  That ought to scare away those crows.
