Today we celebrate:

National Banana Cream Pie Day – Yum - http://www.foodista.com/recipe/CS5FC8WD/banana-cream-pie

National Old Stuff Day – I can't quite figure out what you're supposed to do today. We seem to have some choices. We can revel in the old stuff we have, find all our old stuff and get rid of it, or forsake the old stuff and try something new this year.

Dr. Seuss Day – Born on this day in 1904, Dr. Seuss was the pen name of Theodor Seuss Geisel, a wonderful author, poet and cartoonist.

A very short and easy celebration day today. Pick a room to examine for old stuff that you've had for years, then either get rid of it or make a display somewhere in the room to highlight it. Then you can have some banana cream pie while you read a selection of Dr. Seuss books to your kids, or to yourself if you don't have any available kids. Just make sure you read it out loud. Reading it in your head is not enough of a challenge.
