Milk Day – On this day in
1878, milk was delivered in bottles for the first time. Not
something I ever really thought about before but now I wonder how
people got milk before then. Did someone wander the neighborhood
with their cow filling pails for whoever asked or did people have to
make a trip to a farm somewhere? Maybe they didn't get to have milk
in their cereal unless they had their own cow?
International Thank You Day – Today is a day to appreciate everyone in your life, even someone who usually annoys you. Make sure you take the time to thank everyone for something today. Just think, maybe you'll start a trend that will spread around the world. And if you haven't written your holiday thank you notes yet, it's not too late.
