National Chocolate Chips Day - This is a day to celebrate the little chocolatey morsels that we add to our baked goods to add a sweet chocolate flavor to chocolate chip cookies or brownies or pancakes or muffins or….well, I could go on and on. I confess that sometimes I eat them all by themselves.
Tish B'Av – This is an annual fast day in Judaism that commemorates the destruction of the First Temple and the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The second was destroyed 655 years after the first, but on the same Hebrew calendar date. The fast begins at sundown.

Single Working Women's Day – This is a day to honor the single working women of the world. They have to find the time to do everything themselves. Name a job around the house and the single working woman has to do it on top of working for a living so she has money to do all the things that have to be done.

Purple Heart Appreciation Day – This is a day to celebrate the 231st Anniversary of the Badge of Military Merit (which came into existence by order of General George Washington) which inspired the creation of the Purple Heart we use today.
To celebrate everything in one day, gather up the single working women you know and go to visit a purple heart owner with a dog assistant and thank them both for their service. Then call up the Coast Guard to wish them a happy day before you eat your last meal of chocolate chips before your fast begins at sundown.
