National Peanut Brittle Day – if you
like brittle peanuts, this is the day for you.
National Pistachio Day – Pistachio's
don't last long in this house, almost all of us love them. Make sure
you stock up if you have a similar situation.
Spouse's Day – You know about
Valentine's Day, but did you ever hear of Spouse's Day. It's not a
day for giving gifts. No, this day is better. It's a day that's all
about spending time with your spouse and enjoying each other.
Lotus 1-2-3 Day – in 1983, Lotus
began selling it's spreadsheet program for Microsoft DOS called
1-2-3. Catchy name, wasn't it? Does it make me really old if I
admit that I used it....a lot.
Toad Hollow Day Of Encouragement –
everyone needs a little encouragement now and then. Well this is the
day to give it and get it back.
Celebrating today's events is going to
be easy. Get a spreadsheet program up and running...I'll give you a
pass on using Lotus 1-2-3, since I think there's very little chance
that you could find it...and use it to plan your special day with
your spouse. Nothing too expensive is required, it just has to be
meaningful. Make sure you get some pistachio's and peanut brittle to
share and give each other plenty of encouragement.
